I had encountered Katrina McHugh many times at showings in my Annex neighbourhood, and instinctively found something to be both charming and trustworthy in her, so I contacted her when an unexpected chance to purchase a property emerged. Katrina was amazing; she was straightforward and energetic in dealing with the purchase; she listened to me and offered advice but acted on my wishes; she never seemed to mind when I had new questions or concerns that required her response. Even more wonderful was her help after the sale; she was quite on the ball, and organized for me what I needed to do in ways that took most of the stress out of the process. And she made a lot of it fun; we had many good laughs as everything unfolded. I don’t know why anyone would use anyone else! Over the years I have owned homes not only in the GTA but also in Montreal Quebec.  Wherever the location, one thing is for sure, the prospect of buying and/or selling a home is always a daunting one, professional guidance is key so usually our first step is to find a real estate agent to help us. Selling an existing home in anticipation of a purchase is no easy feat.

Once again Katrina with ease and grace and with the utmost professionalism came to my rescue. She provided sound advise and support to guide me through the challenges I was facing at that time.  My house had been on the market for 4 months with very minimal activity. Katrina, networked to find me a fantastic agent in my area who had lots of experience.  Within days, I had a new listing and after sitting on the market for so long, my house sold in less than 5 weeks.

When all is said and done, buying or selling  a home involves duality.

The process cannot and should not be undertaken alone and great consideration must be given to professional support and guidance. In my experience, the most significant differentiating factor in securing a successful real estate outcome whether you are the buyer or the vendor is the quality  and skills of the agent.  I can honestly say that I am highly confident in Katrina's skills at clarifying market dynamics and in identifying value for money properties that meet my price point.  The level of professionalism I have experienced in working with her speaks volumes about the quality and care she commits to her clients.
