I had encountered Katrina McHugh many times at showings in my Annex neighbourhood, and instinctively found something to be both charming and trustworthy in her, so I contacted her when an unexpected chance to purchase a property emerged. Katrina was amazing; she was straightforward and energetic in dealing with the purchase; she listened to me and offered advice but acted on my wishes; she never seemed to mind when I had new questions or concerns that required her response. Even more wonderful was her help after the sale; she was quite on the ball, and organized for me what I needed to do in ways that took most of the stress out of the process. She even voluntarily followed up to make sure I had managed to tie up all loose end in terms of lawyers, insurance, mortgaging and the like. And she made a lot of it fun; we had many good laughs as everything unfolded. I don’t know why anyone would use anyone else! She has helped me since in locating tenants, and has been a great resource for friends who are starting to look for homes to buy.
